Christopher Bell claps back at Joey Logano: I’ve seen Joey do much worse

Christopher Bell caused frustration for Joey Logano, who was not happy with the way Bell raced. In the press conference after the race, Bell had quite an interesting reaction to Logan's reaction. 

The famous driver believes that Joey also had a specific approach, spoiling his plans in some parts of the race. He continued, stressing that Logano had done far worse things.

“He was frustrated? That is interesting,” Christopher Bell said, as reported by On3. 

“I genuinely would not have guessed that. I had got to him a couple times before and he made it very difficult on me, as he should. I got my run, and I took the moment, as I should. I don’t think that I did anything that Joey has not done, and I’ve seen Joey do much worse. We will continue on.”

Logano was one of the favorites when it came to this race, but he failed to realize his plan. His frustrations were palpable immediately after the end of the race. Even though they had the momentum, there were some things that were an obstacle for them to take a big step.

“I’m pissed off right now. Just dang it, we had the fastest car,” Logano said. 

“The Shell-Pennzoil Mustang was so fast. You get to — I’m trying to choose my words correctly on the caution situation. Obviously, I got bit by it, so I am the one frustrated.”

Joey reacts

Logano looked back on the duel with Bell, saying that he did his best to hold him back, but after Bell reached him and released the brake, Logano stressed that he had no choice. He admits that if he managed to catch up with him, he would have turned around after that move, but he was unable to make up the difference. 

An experienced driver, on the other hand, stresses that such races bring special pain, given that you have the fastest car and you don't achieve your plan.
