In a conversation with Peter Rosenberg, the popular CM Punk decided to talk about various topics. It is known that CM Punk and Roman Reigns are huge rivals and wrestlers who do not really like each other. However, CM Punk revealed if he could ever work with Roman Reigns in the company. Punk pointed out that there are some reasons why it is difficult to get there, such as the fact that they are on different shows, and also CM Punk's injury is causing huge problems.
Although some believe that CM Punk doesn't have such a great relationship with most of the wrestlers within the company, the controversial Punk points out that his relationship with most of them is quite good. CM Punk is aware that the questions about Reigns and him are attracting attention. He is a person who knows how to draw attention to himself.
“We’re on different shows and with my injury and his time off, I saw him at WrestleMania, that’s the last time I saw him. The Shield came here and made a ton of waves in a short amount of time. My relationship with all of those guys was pretty good. I just had to get the hell out of here for my own sanity. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. I think a lot of the questions you have, ‘What is Punk’s relationship with Roman?"- CM Punk said, as quoted by Pwmania.
Punk notes that WWE fans enjoy the drama and storylines that develop. He believes that many things, such as questions about his relationship with Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and other wrestlers, will play out on screen because that is what makes WWE interesting. He agrees that fans are interested in the drama and interactions between the big stars, such as himself, Reigns, Rollins, The Rock, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, and Gunther.
Punk points out that the WWE succeeds because of the drama that ensues when big names meet. Considering that WWE currently has great wrestlers like him, Reigns, Cena, The Rock, and others, Punk hints that big moments will happen when these people meet in the ring.

WWE is a company made up of big stars who have huge fan bases. CM Punk has also always been, and especially in recent years, an extremely popular wrestler, who knew how to provoke the audience and fans. Such skill secured him a ticket to the very top. However, the experienced wrestler has other plans, probably tired of everything so far. What surprised many was that his wife AJ LEE also confirmed her decision to retire from professional wrestling. Of course, right after such an outing, rumors started that she did it because of CM Punk.
Punk stated that AJ Lee's return to WWE could be bigger and more significant than his return, stressing that she is a true star in wrestling. Punk points out that wrestlers often become the subject of speculation, and fans want to know who will be the one who will return to the biggest wrestling events like WrestleMania or Royal Rumble. He claims that AJ Lee's return would generate even more interest than his, as he believes she is an icon in the industry.
Fans also share this opinion, believing that AJ Lee is a person who needs to be part of this kind of story again, considering her career successes and everything she has accomplished.
When asked if his return to WWE was the reason for AJ Lee to come back, Punk replied that it certainly had an impact, but also that AJ currently has many other projects he is working on. Punk stressed that, although the idea of her return to wrestling was present, for AJ Mendez it was more a matter of schedule and timing. He notes that if she is done with her current affairs and has enough time and desire to return, she will announce it herself.
