While there were speculations that the man to step into the Octagon against McGregor in his comeback fight is Michael Chandler, talk is now tilting towards Dan Hooker. Since Hooker possesses high temperamental fighting skills and is currently on a steady rise with that win against Mateusz Gamrot - there's a strong chance for fans to see McGregor vs Hooker in 2025.

Both fighters have virtually agreed to face each other. A series of misfires have preceded McGregor's comeback journey and more so the leg injury that he sustained in 2021. Every training video combined with the appearances steps up the anticipation as the fans wait to see how the ‘Notorious’ has transitioned his skills and stamina into the cage again. McGregor’s comeback is set to be one of the most significant moments in the MMA scene because of the entertainment he promises to bring to his fans.
