Dustin Poirier has gone to name his last fight, which he wants with former opponent Max Holloway, a match he described as the “last dance”. Poirier is a fighter who has always been well-loved by the fans and has an almost unending MMA experience. He has beaten prominent names like Conor McGregor, Eddie Alvarez, as well as Max Holloway. Not once but twice.
Now as Poirier gets ready for retirement he believes the return bout against Holloway would be a worthwhile show to entertain before calling it quits forever. Their technical toughness and solid experience will make the audience sit on the edge of their seats.
Interestingly, the BMF belt could also be on the line. As far as readiness is concerned, Dustin Poirier and Max are both ready to face each other and have verbally said yes. It is now up to the UFC matchmakers to deliver one of the greatest MMA again.
