Ethiopia opens Nile dam despite concerns from Egypt and Sudan

Ethiopia has inaugurated the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, Africa’s largest hydro powerfulness project. Al Jazeera’s Bernard Smith says the dam is simply a root of nationalist pridefulness but remains contentious among downstream nations including Egypt and Sudan.
