"Ghost of Yotei" officially announced for October release

Ghost of Yotei is coming out on 10/2 of this year for PlayStation 5. If everything goes according to plan.

Pre-orders for the game will open next Friday, 5/2 and there will be three different editions of the game available. The standard edition will cost 80 euros, as expected. After that we have the Digital Deluxe Edition for 90 euros with additional cosmetic items and maps showing where to upgrade skills.

Finally, there is the Collector's Edition, which will have a digital copy of the game with the contents of the Deluxe version, and physical bonuses will be a Ghost mask, cards, a paper Ginko tree, a coin, a scarf and some other small accessories.

Along with this news, a new gameplay trailer has arrived that reveals the revenge story in more detail. First, we will witness the bloodshed of the so-called Yotei six in which the protagonist Atsu is left without her family. Then 16 years later we see Atsa on a revenge spree against six outlaws who use animal names instead of names. It all feels a bit like Assassin's Creed, to be honest. And much like Assassin's Creed, here we'll be able to choose the order in which we take revenge on the Yotei six.

Fans are eagerly waiting for this video game with high expectations from it. Announcements regarding this video game have been going on for a long time, and there are still about six months left until the release of Ghost of Yotei for consoles. Although impatience is growing, Ghost fans will have to be patient and enjoy the magic of this video game on their console.

The upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive Ghost of Yotei has received its short description on the official website, and with it a few small details that we did not know before. First of all, it was revealed that this will also be a story of revenge.

“300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima, a new warrior - Atsu - rises from the ashes of her estate. Filled with rage and determination, Atsu hunts down the people responsible for the death of her family and takes revenge on them. Each odd job and hunt for criminals will provide her with the money she needs for her journey. But how she fights, survives and progresses towards the legend of Ghost will be entirely up to you.” – the description reads.
