Well-known names of the boxing scene, analysts and fans are not optimistic that the 'Gypsy King' was sincere. Knowing his character, some are suspicious, expecting that he will return to the ring. Teddy Atlas reacted to these allegations, believing that Fury is afraid of retirement. Atlas thinks that Tyson is making smart moves.
"Tyson Fury is afraid of retirement because boxing stabilizes his life. I have a lot of respect for him, I think he's a great fighter and a great symbol. I think he is afraid to retire because when he has boxing in his life, he has structure, discipline, people around him in the camp. It makes him stand up and be strong. He's not stupid, he's very smart," Atlas told CanadaCasino.

Teddy went on to say that there will come a day when Fury will really have to quit boxing. He hopes Tyson will find himself outside of the sport.
' "But there has to come a day when you're alone. That day is here, and he's realized that, he knows he can't box forever. I think he's afraid of losing that guy. I think he's worried about that and I don't blame him, please." him. I pray for him to find himself outside of boxing," he added.
His retirement in the past proved to be a mistake, as Tyson began to indulge in vices. We can only hope that Fury can sort out his life outside of the sport, because clearly is that the time for retirement is really near. The question is whether his intentions were serious or whether he wanted to deceive the public and make more money with his return.
