Former welterweight champion Jiri Prochazka will make his UFC debut tomorrow. He will fight against former welterweight champion Jamahal Hill, and this is a match that is very promising considering the styles of both fighters.

Yesterday I reached a million followers on Instagram, so I decided to donate a million Czech crowns to the foundation for oncology patients. Martial arts have to give something back, but I say, it’s all about sending good energy,” Jiri said at the press conference.

The donation that Jiri will make is approximately $40,000 when converted, which is certainly a lot of money. In support, UFC President Dana White said that he would also add that amount, which caused a truly touching moment at the press conference. The UFC leadership and the fighters have once again shown how big their hearts are, and how ready they are to help at any moment.
We need more of this kind of thing, especially from people who have the platform to do this. Kudos to Prochazki for these gestures and we hope that as many fighters as possible will join him in this, and we wish him luck in his match against Hill tomorrow.
