Joey Logano emphasizes some positive aspects after the elimination

1 week ago 5

Joey Logano has completed his journey in NASCAR this season. The experienced driver will not have the chance to advance to the Round of 8. The 34-year-old emphasized that both he and his team gave their all, but sometimes things don’t go as we imagined. However, he didn’t forget to mention Tyler Reddick, who did a great job.

For Logano, it’s also important that they advanced in the owners' championship, believing it might confuse the fans. Logano doesn’t see this as the end of the battle; rather, he believes it’s still a fight that will never stop. The 34-year-old certainly could have achieved more, but his team has a lot to hope for when it comes to NASCAR.

“I mean we fought hard for sure and I think Paul and the guys did a good job of executing the strategy of what we needed to do today,” Logano said, as quoted by On3

“Just didn’t get quite enough there at the end, fell off a little bit too much that last run. Honestly, the 45 and Tyler and those guys did a good job driving up through the field and scored more points. It’s hard not to think about Richmond a little bit right now. I guess the positive for us we’re in the owners championship so we can confuse all the fans from here on out about drivers and owners championship. The money’s in the owners so we’ll keep fighting for the money.”

Logano explained that part of the challenge came from having two strong competitors, AJ and Shane, closing in on him. He was focused on maintaining his position and found himself hoping for a caution flag, which could create opportunities for unexpected outcomes. He congratulated the other drivers for their hard work, particularly in adjusting their toe links to improve performance. Logano reflected on the season, stressing that there were missed opportunities where he could have gained points, specifically mentioning Talladega as a race where they didn’t perform well enough to earn stage points, which contributed to his current situation.

There have been many races this season where Logano could have performed better, but unfortunately, things didn’t turn out in his favor. The experienced driver doesn’t need to feel frustrated with this outcome, especially since he has shown great skill in many races when it mattered most. His achievements in NASCAR are enough for him to feel satisfied with both his past and future. It will be interesting to see analyses of his season and experts' opinions on it. Joey has once again demonstrated that no obstacle or problem can stop him on his journey toward even greater success. There’s no doubt

Right now, we’re entering what many consider the most exciting part of the season, where we’ll see who has the strength and motivation to make it to the end and lift the trophy they’ve dreamed of since their first moments in NASCAR. There are several favorites for this, but only one will ultimately be crowned the winner of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series. Fans have varying predictions, giving some drivers better odds than others, but it’s clear that the remainder of the season will bring plenty of excitement, unpredictable moments, and perhaps even a winner we didn’t expect. Several intriguing names

Denny Hamlin goals

Some have every reason to be happier with the outcome of the last race at Roval 400. Denny Hamlin is the name that many have focused on the most. The experienced NASCAR driver summarized his thoughts after the last race in an interview with NBC Sports, aware that he has a solid foundation to win the championship after years of being overlooked for his successes due to not having won a NASCAR Cup Series title.

There’s immense pressure on him, but Hamlin seems to have a strategy for handling it. He admitted that the race was intense and brought a sense of nervousness, but he is pleased with how things turned out. He expressed gratitude for his team, which was ready to support him and give their all to achieve success. Hamlin expects great things in the upcoming races, as each one will be crucial on his path to his goal.

Hamlin explained that being in their position was difficult because the only thing that could really hurt them was having a disastrous day. This meant he couldn’t be as aggressive as he would have liked, but at the same time, he needed to avoid losing too much track position. He praised the positive atmosphere and the amazing work of his Sports Clips Haircuts Toyota team, specifically mentioning Chris Gabehart and the crew for doing a fantastic job of keeping them competitive. Finally, he was pleased that they managed to finish in the top 15.
