After suffering three consecutive losses in his last three fights, the former welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman, officially agreed to his next fight the other day. His opponent will be Joaquin Buckley, a fighter who is currently on a roll and on a phenomenal streak of six consecutive wins, and who is also six years younger.

Considering all the circumstances surrounding Usman, many will still favor Buckley in this fight, but that won't bother the former champion too much. Yesterday he said that he is finally back from vacation and that he expects a great fight from Buckley.

“It’s a great fight. He’s aggressive, he’s strong and he’s athletic, I like that. I’m still getting the adrenaline pumping, I feel like I need to let off some steam. But I hope he does his homework and this is a great fight,” he explained.
