Kevin Durant defends Tatum, says NFL players need to stay in their lanes

Jayson Tatum played great before he suffered an injury that meant the end of this season for him. Although his team did not manage to win that match, not long after they managed to come back in a great way and extend the series to six games. 

Emmanuel Acho, a well-known face of the sports scene, pointed out that the Celtics play better without Tatum, and such a statement caused anger among NBA figures. 

Kevin Durant was one of the first to react.

"Hot take artist have ruined the sport. Football guys, no disrespect but yall boys need to stay in ya lanes, u don’t know what it’s like it's between these lines man, give it a break. Dudes who quit football early to pursue media talkin mental toughness, cut it out."-Durant said.

Acho shares his view

Acho shared a video on social media where he shared his opinion, revealing what he is basing his opinion on. He believes that this team probably lacks a real leader.

"The Celtics match up better against the Knicks without Jayson than they do with him. Give me two minutes to show you something you may have missed, and I’ll convince you exactly why.

I want to go as far as to say, the Boston Celtics matchup better with the New York Knicks without Jayson Tatum than they do with Jayson Tatum. Not because of talent, not because of talent, exclusively because of mindset. I believe a team is a reflection of its leader. Jayson Tatum is a leader of the Boston Celtics. They are an incredible team, a talented team, but they are not as tough a team."

Many believe that his opinion is totally wrong, and that there are many arguments that can be used against him. Tatum is an excellent player who has shown leadership and qualities on NBA floors many times. 

However, some clearly do not like his qualities, believing that this player has some of the shortcomings.
