Kurt Angle, a name well-known to fans of the wrestling scene, spoke about interesting topics during Busted Open Radio. One of the topics was an offer from a TV company regarding a TV show that would be made about his life. The experienced Angle explained that he received a call from Hollywood and got an interesting offer.

The producers were very interested in presenting such a story to the public, considering that it would be a great move. Angle wanted to know exactly what the goal of everything was. After he realized that such a TV show would include all things about his life, Angle lost interest, not wanting certain things to surface again, especially because there were many difficult moments.

“When my documentary came out, Hollywood came calling. I had a few different producers getting a hold of me and saying, ‘Hey, we want to make a movie out of your life.’ I had one director, he was like, ‘Listen, I want to do a TV show. I want this to be the next Yellowstone.’ I’m like, ‘Okay, what do you want in it?’ He’s like, ‘I want everything.’ I said, ‘Well, there are things my family members didn’t, they don’t want to bring back up. They don’t want this to surface again."- Kurt Angle said, as quoted by Pwmania.

Kurt Angle explained that his family did not want him to revisit some difficult moments from the past. Some situations were quite disturbing, and he didn't want those things to be shown on TV. When he asked the producer if these things would be included, the producer replied that he wanted "all" or nothing. Angle suggested that they make a movie instead of a series, but the producer insisted only on a TV series. Kurt then decided to reject the offer, respecting the producer, but considering that he could not agree to those conditions. Instead, this amazing wrestler said he would look for someone who would be willing to make a film about his life.

Angle wanted to show that there are certain principles that he wants to adhere to, not wanting to run away from it. His career is marked by various moments, which this popular wrestler probably does not want to remember. Of course, there were many more great moments that Angle will never forget.

The career of an experienced wrestler is filled with many famous and infamous moments. Despite everything, Angle was remembered as one of the greatest in WWE, but also one of the greatest in the world of wrestling.

Kurt Angle: I have a movie about my life story coming out

In an interview with WrestleZone's Bill Pritchard, Angle revealed another side of the story, confirming that a movie is being made about his life. Angle revealed that he has hired talented directors, expecting great collaboration with them. Ian and Eshom Nelms are directors who also work as amateur wrestlers. This made Kurt's decision easier.

"Actually, I don’t know if you know this, but I have a movie about my life story coming out. John (ber) is helping me out with it a little bit. He got me the directors, Ian and Eshom Nelms. These directors are incredibly talented, they were actually amateur wrestlers, so they understand my sport. They directed movies like Fatman starring Mel Gibson and ‘Red Right Hand’ starring Orlando Bloom."- Angle said.

Kurt explained that the directors of the film about his life, Ian and Eshom Nelms, worked on many exceptional films. His film will focus on the story of a boy from the streets of Pittsburgh who overcomes great hardships in life, including a broken neck, and ends up winning a gold medal at the Olympics. The film will exclusively deal with his Olympic story and will be inspired by films like Rocky, with elements of The Fighter and Iron Claw. Kurt emphasized that the directors are extremely talented, and for the first time he will be on the opposite side of the camera, watching them create a film. He is excited to bring this story to the world, believing it will be a great movie.

The plan is to make two different films. The first film will be about his Olympic career, while the second will be about his professional wrestling career. Kurt stressed that they decided to make a movie about his Olympic story first and then, in the future, continue with a movie about his wrestling career. The reason for this separation was that the content was too large to fit into one film, so they decided to focus on one film at the moment, with the other to follow later.
