NBA admits error after Nikola Jokic's frustrated reaction

Nikola Jokić is one of the best basketball players of the modern era in NBA history, and now the NBA league has admitted that they stole the Serbian basketball player.

The whole world saw the reaction of Nikola Jokić due to the miss in the game Denver Nuggets - Oklahoma City Thunder.

It wasn't because Nikola missed, but because he was heavily fouled at a sluggish moment.

Jokić jumped up and asked the referees for a foul, but they remained "mute" to his violent reaction.

Soon, a slow-motion recording was shown on TV, and the whole world realized that the Serb was right.

"How is it possible that the referees didn't see this?" is one of the most common questions on social networks.

Even the NBA league admitted the referees' mistake, and pointed out that the referees had to foul Jokić.

NBA reacts

The official announcement of the NBA made it clear that Jokić will have to be more "protected" or at least that obvious fouls are played against him.

To make matters worse, this moment could have decided the winner, but luckily for the Nuggets, they were celebrating.

Two free throws in the playoffs is a lot, especially when one of the better free throws on the Denver team goes to the penalty line, which Nikola certainly is.

Many times we have heard stories about how "defense is not played" in the NBA, and quite often we see dirtier moves in the NBA than anywhere else on the planet.

The famous basketball player is often the target of various players, who are aware of the danger the Serbian poses for their defenses. Coaches of opposing teams have various tips on how to deal with Jokic and his game, and it seems that such tips are bringing results lately. 

Nevertheless, the 30-year-old basketball player will work on himself in the coming period, and find a solution for the opponent's defense. Nikola is motivated to do great things in the rest of the season, mostly because of the critics, but of course the team always comes first.
