President Donald Trump connected Thursday said his medication plans to usage the ongoing authorities shutdown to permanently chopped authorities programs fashionable with Democrats, his latest menace amid the backing stalemate.
"We're lone cutting Democrat programs," Trump said during a Cabinet gathering astatine the White House.
It was not instantly wide which programs would acceptable that description, but Trump specified that they were "very fashionable Democrat programs that aren't fashionable with Republicans, frankly."
"They wanted to bash this," Trump said, doubling down connected blaming Democrats for the shutdown.
"So we'll get a small sensation of their ain medicine," helium added.
