The new UFC 310 fight card has officially been disclosed. Matchmakers had to make a few tweaks after Belal Muhammad pulled out because of a staph infection/toe injury. Two different fight cards have been somewhat mixed and changed.
The key highlights are: Shavkat Rakhmonov will be fighting Ian Machado Garry in the co-main event of UFC310, and the winner of this fight will most probably face Belal Muhammad next. Ian Machado Garry was originally scheduled to fight Joaquin Buckley at UFC Tampa but it is now a fight for Colby Covington to handle. As far as the main event is concerned, Alexander Pantoja will be defending his belt against Kai Asakura. Here’s what the updated UFC 310 line-up looks like:
- Alexandre Pantoja vs Kai Asakura (Flyweight title fight)
- Ian Machado Garry vs Shavkat Rakhmonov (Welterweight bout)
- Ciryl Gane vs Alexander Volkov (Heavyweight bout)
- Movsar Evloev vs Aljamain Sterling (Featherweight bout)
- Dominick Reyes vs Anthony Smith (Light heavyweight bout)
- Clay Guida vs Chase Hooper (Lightweight bout)
- Michael Chiesa vs Max Griffin (Welterweight bout)
- Nick Diaz vs Vicente Luque (Welterweight bout)
- Cody Durden vs Joshua Van (Flyweight bout)
- Bryan Battle vs Randy Brown (Welterweight bout)
Shavkat Rakhmonov appreciates Ian Machado Garry for accepting the fight
Shavkat Rakhmonov is ready to disrupt his opponents undefeated record.
I’m very disappointed in our division. Belal, Leon, Colby, Kamaru, Jack, Sean - you’ve all let fans down. The only one who backed up his words is Ian, and I respect that. But make no mistake, @iangarryMMA - I’m coming for your 0 and will fight for the belt after https://t.co/eE3Ps8aCoj
