Cycling is known as a sport that can often bring bizarre moments and accidents that have ended in various ways. Cycling is an extreme sport, and a sport that requires maximum concentration, great strength, but also dedication.

The cycling paths of Albania have become home to one of the strongest bizarre events of recent times. The famous Giro d'Italia cycling race is underway, which takes place over twenty days in Italy and Albania, and one of them had a minor incident. Or to be more precise, an unexpected guest ran onto the track.

Namely, while the cyclists were passing through the rural part of the stage, they enjoyed the attention of a herd of goats from the side. It is difficult to say whether the goats had their favorite, or whether their goal was to create chaos on the cycling path, because two of them separated from the herd and "hooliganically" ran into an unauthorized area.

New Zealand cyclist Dion Smith:  I didn't have much time to think

The first had minor difficulties crossing the road - she had a minor collision with New Zealand cyclist Dion Smith, while the second crossed the road unharmed.

- I didn't have much time to think. Ten seconds before that I noticed a police officer trying to hold them all back. Then one, or maybe two, jumped out at us. Luckily, I stayed on my wheels - Smith said after the race.

In the third stage, which passed through Tirana, Briton Josh Tarling celebrated, completing the 13.7-kilometer stage in 16 minutes and seven seconds, while Slovenian cyclist Primož Roglič finished in second place. Third was Jay Vine from Australia.

The race brought the necessary excitement factor, and it looks like this season could bring many more exciting moments. We hope that scenes like this on the bike paths will not be an everyday occurrence. Fortunately, this time it passed without injuries.
