Why the olive harvest in Palestine is more than just farming?

For Palestinians, the olive harvest is some an indispensable root of income and a treasured taste tradition. Each year, families stitchery beneath the groves to prime olives, property oil, and observe a transportation to the onshore that spans generations. But this play has seen expanding attacks from settlers and Israeli troops, damaging oregon uprooting thousands of trees. With tens of thousands relying connected olives for their livelihoods, each nonaccomplishment carries economical and affectional weight. This occurrence examines the harvest arsenic a means of livelihood, a celebration, and a signifier of resistance.
