Zay Flowers has serious ambitions next season, coming off a 1,000-yard season. The 24-year-old wide receiver generated 1059 yards on 74 catches, and there is certainly one important challenge ahead of him.
The club's management has high hopes for him, believing that in 2025 he will make great progress.
Offensive coordinator Todd Monken stresses that Flowers is a great player, but it is very important that he gets as many balls as possible.
This is the only way for a young player to show his full brilliance and potential.
"We've just got to get him the ball more," Monken said, as quoted by NFL.
"I mean, that's really it. The problem is we have a lot of those guys. He's an unbelievable football player. He's not only an outside receiver that has elite route-running skills, but he's unbelievable with the ball in his hands. So you have, like, a guy that fits two positions, really plays two spots."
Having a player like that is certainly a big deal, considering that Flowers can play a variety of roles. Monken is aware that Flowers catches a lot of balls, has great movement and is a versatile player.
The main goal for this team is to utilize his potential, and it looks like that could indeed happen in the coming months.
"You can use him in a variety of roles to get him the ball, which allows your volume to go up. He's a volume-catch guy. You can use him in novelty screens, get him the ball down the field, so I expect him to take another leap in terms of his consistency."

"My knee is great," he said. "I feel 100%. I feel like I'm ready to go, feel like I'm ready for the season. No limits. I'm good."
